What region in NMR spectrum should I choose for integration?

I have nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum. The vertical axis is intensity, and the horizontal axis is index. I need to find integral under the peak. But I am not sure, what region should I choose for integration - region 1 or region 2? Please find attached the spectrum.

You would use region 1 as it is a much higher peak than the rest of region 2. Generally we use the idea of an average value of the peak times the domain of the index. This can be found using the average of a function in Calculus but it is much simpler to work with the "width at half maximum" of the peak times the domain of the index. This is generally close enough to work with.
