System pulley help!

A 70-N block and an 35-N block are connected by a string as shown. If the pulley is massless and the surface is frictionless, the magnitude of the acceleration of the 35-N block is:

Should I assume that this system is not moving?
Wouldn't the acceleration of the 35 N block be 9.8 m/s^2 ?
Or is this system moving.. I'm a bit confused about the wording.

I could guess at a few things, but it would be simpler if we had a diagram.
