2 Any demonstrably real force acts between points, it does not go round in closed loops.
Complete and utter rubbish.

Any 5 year old blowing up balloons, any pipeline enginer, any bridge engineer or any pressure vessel engineer knows about ring forces.

The forces act between points, between atoms and between subatomic particles - as any engineer and many children will know. Do your ring forces go round clockwise or anticlockwise?

Both.

Is a circle a curve or a straight line?

Are they not both made of points?

Ring forces take a cicular path unless other factors are involved.

Engineers also call them hoop stresses or hoop forces.
