What happens during the interaction of magnetic fields when two objects touch eachother?

What do we exchange when we touch an object besides photons?

I don't know that we "exchange" anything. But when we "touch" something, the electrical fields of the atoms and molecules in our bodies interact with the electrical field of the other body. That is what our nerves respond to.
