philipishin comes in every month or two and makes an obscure comment, which is typically untranslatable. (Though there was that one time we figured out what he meant. That was a long while ago.) I let him do it for two reasons:
1) He might actually reply to our comments. It's not typical but he has done it before.

2) I hate to say it publicly but his posts usually have a high amusement value to them.

In philipishin’s OP, “robert” is something new (new idea). It’s something between human and robot. Neither it is a true human, nor it is a metal/plastic robot. It should be a kind of man-made creature whose material should be a kind of special polymer. When the atmosphere becomes too hot and no human can survive on the Earth, this kind of creature can insist living on the Earth. Perhaps if they can sustain 50 degree Celsius, human shape can last for an additional 100 year on the earth. And then everything will be up to FATE. If the temperature can drop back under 37 degree Celsius. This creature will do it in counter way: creat human out again because they fear coldness. At that time, human should be called “robert made creature”.

No matter how complicated and obscure the course might be, the result will be that. No matter how I struggle, I am not able to escape. That's their "law" and my FATE. But I think that if philipishin learn more English, he will be able to do something more than "amusement".haha... Last edited by neila9876; Jul 24th 2019 at 03:30 AM. Reason: correct word

It is generally said that the Google auto-translate program is fairly good. There was a thread between Neila and myself (some time ago now) where I use the Google auto-translate to translate from English to Chinese. Neila said "it made sense", so I assume it translated reasonably well. (but it could have said anything, since I don't read Chinese). Alternatively philipishin might just like to (purposely) put together random words that almost make sense, and watch us deliberate over them. I have even considered if he is a "chat bot" program, picking up random words and phrasing from the physics forum and spouting them back parrot fashion. But a decent chat-bot program can construct a much better approximation of a conversation than we see from philipishin. topsquark likes this. __________________ ~\o/~

But I don't think there is a "law" in how to learn English. You can learn it even from the posts of the guys, of course except mine.haha...
