the tramp is watching the night sky...he think that he got a high energy photon came from billions of years ago....
First, physics should build a united, simple, explicit, effective model of basic particle from which all physical phenomena could be reflected...after that, a sufficient, accurate model of cosmos could appear

have patience

That is the whole idea of the study of physics
However we have only been seriously pursuing this for a few centuries...

Also each time we find a clear clean model that seems to explain everything,
someone discovers a new (and even stranger) phenomenon that refuses to fit.

Remember the joy is in the journey as much as in getting to the destination.

More joy?...just dare not to do it yet...
The tramp has gone back to the very beginning of cosmos billion years ago, and just got confused in two descriptions of cosmos state:
description of cosmos state 1:cosmos full of energy.
description of cosmos state 2:a point of infinite density of mass.
I feel that description 1 is view from inside while description 2 is view from outside(of one thing).Maybe, only God is able to build coordinate systems to measure and distinguish between them.

The singularity at the start of the cosmos confuses everyone.

I think one could argue that the start of the cosmos is the beginning of distance
which allows the difference of one thing from another.
This in turn allows for a change in the relationship between one thing and another,
which provides time.

Before distance, terms like "mass" and "energy" are meaningless.

confused...cosmos has a meaningless state...?

It seems that the tramp will not survive under the oppression of the local dark force.

What's a "dark force?" Something Luke Skywalker needs to stay away from?

Why people always metion exceeding speed of light in film? Want to break the constraint?

Well, if you can travel at light speed then it would take about four years to get from Earth to the nearest star. So any realistic space movie would get very boring. (Kind of like "Europa Report." I thought it was rather boring until the very end.)

。。。

Of course, the appearance of distance just as someone said above is absolutely a remarkble and critical step in evolution of cosmos whether people can know what is it before that...meaningful or not. And it(distance) means bang..
