Simulation theory

What do you think about the simulation theory?

By this I guess that you mean the idea that what we experience is actually a simulation (as in the "Matrix" films).

My first response is "does it matter"
Only if the simulation is notably imperfect would there be any consequence relative to a non-simulated universe.
Some might argue that the "weirdness" of QM indicates just such an imperfection, but in my view that is just sophistry.

My second response is that the simulation must exist within a real reality,
unless the reality within which the simulation exists is itself is a simulation,
and then we have the infinite Turtles problem.
