Nuclear fusion

Hello.
Why can not start nuclear fusion using only very high electromagnetic field and high pressure hydrogen gas?

You have to ask yourself whether:
- that reaction can be controlled safely
- the conditions for that reaction to occur are worth the experiment (strong magnetic field, pressure, and the flammable hydrogen gas which is dangerous)

But in thermonuclear fusion conditions are similar, and moreover there is a high temperature.
I would replace the high temperature electrically static field.

I am not nuclear physic I am Electro technik.

In thermonuclear fusion we talk about a Hydrogen plasma which (at least on Earth) is contained by some very very large magnets. The last I heard for certain they were using Tokamaks. Unfortunately (from what I know anyway) no magnet is strong enough to contain a fusion reaction for long. The plasma just gets too hot and expands, which causes a drop in the density of the plasma beyond the point which fusion requires for a self-sustaining reaction. Perhaps someday that will change, but for now we are limited to very short durations of the proper density of the plasma.

at ordinary pressure i think nucleus of the lighter element can't fuse to make the nucleus of heavy nucleus.. hence temperature and pressure matters in this regard.. thanks

it is dangerous

We cannot do nuclear vision in the open because it is too dangerous.
