 Draw a diagram illustrating that the minimum size of a plane mirror that shows you your whole body is half your height.
I don't understand. How does a plane mirror shrink your size? Isn't that for convex/concave?

 Dec 18th 2008, 03:27 AM #2 Senior Member   Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: Udupi, Karnataka, India Posts: 292 If you stand in front of a mirror and your eye is in level with the the top edge of the mirror, you can see your eye in the same level.From the same position, if you want to see your feet, You can see it when the rays from the feet reflect from the middle portion of the mirror, because angle of incidence is equal to angle of reflection. Try to draw the ray diagram.
