wow,i've been trying to do this one part of the question for almost 6 days now and I still can't figure it out.I've tried everything I could think of,from re-revising my notes to quite literally banging my head on the desk,and I stillcan't get it right.whatever method i try i always end up with -2D

Think of the eye-lens + corrective lens as one unit with focal length f and power P. The object for this is at 50 cm and image is at 2.3 cm.
Isn't the object at 25cm for the lens combination?or is it at 50cm?

1/f = 1/u + 1/v since object is at 25 cm and image has to be at 2.3 cm
