How large is the angle between the two refracted rays? Red light has an index of refraction in silica of 1.459 and blue light has an index of 1.467. A narrow ray of white light traveling in air enters a glass block at an incident angle of 40.00°. The white light consists of a range of wavelengths. For these colors, the indices of refraction for the glass range from 1.512 to 1.531. Find the angular width of the ray inside the block. But I don't even know where to start with them, I know I have to use Snell's Law but I can't figure out how to go about these ones...could someone give me a push in the right direction? Thanks!

Do the same for the blue ray topsquark and TyrannosaurusWreck like this.
