This is a simple distance = speed times time question. The speed of light is 3x10^8 m/s. As for the time parameter - one miilisecond is one thousandth of a second, not one hundredth. If you want to use one miilisecond then the distance is:

d = 3x10^8 m/s x 10^-3 s = 3 x 10^5 m.
