Cab Anyone Help Me Get The Answer To This?

Can you help me calculate this or understand how to do the following two questions in my assignment?
4 A 747 Jumbo Jet must reach a speed of 290km/h by the end of the runway to lift off.
The 15L-33R runway at Toronto International Airport is 2,770 meters long.
The main Toronto Island Airport runway 08-26 is 1216 meters long.
Assuming the jet has a constant acceleration, for each runway:
a) [2] The time to reach the end of the runway
b) [2] The required acceleration.
c) [1] Do you think 747 will ever take off and land on the island?

I've tried for hrs to figure this out please someone help

Here is a tip for doing any of these kinematics questions.

1) write down a complete list of variables - just use the symbols (I have defined them this time for your benefit)

u = initial velocity
v = final velocity
s = distance travelled
t = time taken
f = acceleration

2) Place all the information given in the question against your list.

u = 0
v = (290*1000)/3600 metres per second (did you notice this trap?)
s = 2770
t = ?
a = ?

3) Now write down all the kinematics equations you know (you shouldn't have more than five)

I will only write down 1 to start you off

v^2 = u^2 + 2fs
