Falling Spider

Spiderman steps from the top of a tall building. He falls freely from rest to the ground a distance of h. He falls a distance of h/4 in the last 1.0 s of his fall. What is h of the building?

This question is from the book and it has already given the answer of 270m, but I do not know how to solve it. So I need help pls.

1/4h=vo*t + 1/2*g*t^2 where t=1s

vo=sqrt(2*g*(3/4*h))

Plug vo in the first equation and solve for h (a quadratic equation).
