Kinematics

What's difference b/w distance covered( by a moving particle with uniform acceleration) in three second and in 1st Sec+2nd Sec+3rd Sec ?
Why it come different ??

Hint: a particle that accelerates at a uniform rate gains velocity with time. Given that distance = velocity times time, what happens to distance if velocity increases?
