Conmstruction of the Pyramids

Sometimes I scare myself.

A while back it occurred to me how easy it would be to transport the large blocks used to built the pyramids. One simply takes the square block and fits around it wooden fittings made so that the end product is a cylinder or wheel. The one just rolls it which requires very little force. I thought it was so obvious that it should have been thought of by now and since it hadn't then perhaps this technique was never used. How wrong I was to doubt myself. Not only was I right on track by such a device was found in a pyramid.
