A-Level physics project - Experiment ideas

Hello all, I've got a project that's going to run through the year of my course and looking for a few ideas to play with.
Basically we'll be preforming an experiment and evaluating the data, changing some variables and making predictions of these changes.
I toyed with the Idea of 'Brownian motion' but the only variable that can be manipulated is the temperature of the water to increase the diffusion... Basically it's a bit too simple. Also I thought a 'cloud chamber' could be fun, but again, there's not much you can do with it.

Any Idea's on a 'not too simple' experiment that's got a good few controlled and uncontrolled variables that can be linked to probable outcome relevant to current theories and/or previous work?

Many Thanks

A cloud chamber might be fun. Have a look at http://www.ultimate-theory.com/en/20...ticle-detector and watch the video at the bottom.
