Nail to create more stronger attachment

We can create more stronger substance by nail. Metal nail looks like weak than itself with 100 percent two metal together. But nail create more stronger attachment between two metals.

A nail cannot be used to join metal ... To start with it's not easy to puncture metal by driving in a nail , if the metal was thin enough to allow puncturing , the torn area around the hole would not grip the nail .... to join metal you first need to drill a hole then use a Rivet ....

Nails are used only for wood ...Wood is a compact block of fibrous strands , a pointed object is able to penetrate .... more importantly the elastic nature of these fibers Grips the nail after it has penetrated with tremendous force . The static friction of the wood on the nail means very high force is required to move the nail again, and this allows a secure attachment .

Thanks for that compliment neila ... I think you've nailed who I am , a technician , an engineer ...

I'm not too comfortable with pure physics , long formula ... I'm suspicious of abstract ideas like dark matter , relativity ; I'm not convinced they're true ... I like to get hold of things , understand how things work in my immediate environment.

Talking technician

Oz:
A third rate technician to think about Relativity, a fourth rate technician to think about Quantum,,, Philipshin always think about philosophy, he must be a fifth rate technician...haha...
I used to be a fourth rate technician in machinery factories , got holding of server motors, drills, mills, blades, screws (never nails), calipers, etc all day...haha...
Unfortunately, the local dark force nailed who I am: a watchman in their small business (half self payment)...and I became a semi - tramp...haha...

Neila ... I don't know if your aware of the Secret Space Program ...IMHO it's the most important issue there is at this time , I think it might be up your street ...

Here's a video featuring just one of the dozens of whistle-blowers ....

Talking

Oz:
If you go to the comet, this unfit driller will go too. He believes that the first rate technician will bring him back and make him a hero...
I remembered that I reversed the spin of the mill and render the alluminium alloy melted down (not intentionally) when I was a driller in Haida Instrument Corp. LTD(海达仪器) ...haha...

Talking physic vs philosophy

The philosophical bird never reply in his own thread. Even you bite him, he will not refute you. Philosophy seems to be more profound than physics. Anyone has an idea to render the Third Law of Newton applicable to the philosophical bird?

Talking light speed vs philosophy

I have a try first, to test if the Third Law of Newton applicable to the philosophical bird. But I am not so confident...
Hi, Philipishin:
How are you. I want to ask you a philosophical question: the light speed is a limited constant and also it's the limit of a physical quantity, is it right logically?

"... the light speed is a limited constant..."

If you are referring to the fact that the speed of light is constant then all physical constants are "limited!"

It's also not the limit of a physical quantity, it is a physical quantity.

I don't understand what you are trying to say here.
