(Another) Electric field in a sphere
A positively charged metal sphere of radius a is at the center of a metal shell of radius b. The spheres carry equal and opposite charges +Q. Find the electric field as a function of the distance r from the common center for (a) a < r < b, and (b) r > b.

Like the other problem, I have no idea how to start. And again, this should have something to do with E = kQ/r^2, but I don't know what the problem is really asking. I think my real problem with these physics questions is that I don't understand what they want me to do! Please help!

i suggest you to read some primary book to solve these by RESNICK, HALLIDAY and WALKER will be helpful....................
