Electrical power..numerical..

A refrigerator is marked 80 W and 220 V.
1. How much energy does it consume in one day if on an average it is used for 20 hrs. a day?
2. What is likely to happen (to the amount of energy consumed) if the voltage drops to 55 V?

Refrigerator consumes 80 W per second.
Power is the rate energy consumption.
Energy can be measured as kW hr or units.
Now you can find the energy consumed in W hr or kW hr.
In the next part,
Find the resistance of the refrigerator using the formula W = V^2/R.
Then find new power for the new voltage.
