electric field inside a conducting sphere

Greetings everyone!!
electric field intensity inside a conducting sphere set by an external source is 0.
(I guess first there will be a charge distribution on the surface of the sphere due to induction. the electric field set up by these induced charges will cancel the electric field due to the external source)
but what will be the electric field intensity beneath the surface of the sphere if it is positively charged? will there be a contribution due to the external electric field now??

i think that E inside will still be zero.
no matter whatever charge you give to the conducting sphere , it will distribute itself neatly on the surface in such a wise way that it cancels off the external field.
