Ion-acoustic plasma

Please, who can give me a simple meaning of ion-acoustic plasma ? (exmples ...)

I assume you are talking about ion-acoustic waves, which propagate in plasma. These are simply oscillations of ions and electrons through a plasma of positively charged ions, which gives the waves the property to interact with each other due to the particles having electromagnetic charge. They govern the evolution of mass density, for instance due to pressure gradients, on time scales longer than the frequency corresponding to the relevant length scale.

And I am guessing ion-acoustic plasma is the medium the ion-acoustic waves propagate in (if that's what you meant).
