angular conservation of momentum/collision

The drawing shows a collision between two pucks on an air-hockey table. Puck A has a mass of 0.038 kg and is moving along the x axis with a velocity of +5.5 m/s. It makes a collision with puck B, which has a mass of 0.068 kg and is initially at rest. The collision is not head-on. After the collision, the two pucks fly apart with the angles shown in the drawing.

(a) Find the final speed of puck A.
(b) Find the final speed of puck B.

(a) Find the final speed of puck A$\displaystyle v_A$
(b) Find the final speed of puck B$\displaystyle v_B$

$\displaystyle 0.038(v_A)sin65^o=0.068(v_B)sin37^o $ ----------(1)
$\displaystyle 5.5(v_A)=0.038(v_A)cos65^o+0.068(v_B)cos37^o$-(2)

Solving simultaneous equations (1) and (2) you would get what you want
